REMSA Welcomes Maurice Herbst to the Position of Director of IT
Maurice joined REMSA in late February as the Director of Information Technology. In this role, he will lead the department of five and will oversee all continuity and optimization of REMSA’s information technology infrastructure for the entire organization and partner with the management team on process improvements and information technology solutions. Some key initiatives that the IT department will launch within the calendar year 2018 include the standardization of processes and configurations of IT infrastructure and the inclusion of the organization’s remote bases into the secure network.
Maurice brings more than 20 years of IT experience. Prior to joining the REMSA team, he worked at IGT and held various positions with EE Technologies, most recently, IT Manager where he implemented KPI Dashboards for real-time business metrics and developed a wireless warehouse inventory solution to improve materials performance.
In his free time, Maurice enjoys fishing, video gaming, traveling and spending time with his wife and children; he has two girls age 22 and 20, and two boys age 15 and 11.
