Logistics Supervisor

Shift openings:

Night Shift – Mon – every other Thursday 5pm-5am

Day Shift – every other Thursday -Sunday 5am-5pm

Enjoy 4 days off every other week! Benefit eligible on Day 1 of employment.

The Logistics Supervisor oversees the daily operations of logistics technicians and ensures the efficient deployment of ambulances. This role involves managing resources, coordinating logistics activities, and working closely with the Operations team to provide timely and effective emergency medical services.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintains an exemplary, safe, professional, and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Serves as a primary point of contact for logistics-related inquiries and issues.
• Monitoring employee productivity and providing coaching, mentoring, performance reviews, constructive feedback and/or corrective action as needed.
• Ensures team performs all assigned tasks accurately and within expected timeframes.
• Performs daily vehicle inspections to ensure operational readiness per organizational standards.
• Manage staffing levels to consistently meet operational demands.
• Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Minimize inventory loss due to damage, theft, or misappropriation.
• Oversee durable medical equipment reporting process.
• Oversee annual coordination of preventative maintenance program.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, protocols, and standards.
• Contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
• Support budget preparation and management for logistics operations.
• Drives and operates ambulances and other company vehicles safely, in accordance with established driving guidelines.
• Collaborate with other departments, agencies, and stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.
• Facilitate regular meetings with staff to discuss updates, issues, and improvements.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.
• Oversee training program and ensure all training is complete.
• Committed to continuous self-improvement and lifelong learning.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/ Experience Requirements

• 1-2 years of previous supervisory experience highly desired.
• Two (2) years’ experience in supply chain, logistics, and or warehouse/distribution is preferred.
• High school diploma is required.
• Must demonstrate a high degree of organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• A self-starter requiring minimal oversight.
• Working knowledge of computer programs including Windows and Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point).
• Associate degree or higher with emphasis in Business Management and/or Logistics preferred.
• Valid driver license with clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain valid CPR card upon hire.
• Forklift certification required or ability to obtain it upon hire.

Supervision Exercised
Exercises direct supervision over the logistics staff.
