Aug. 13, 2024 (RENO, Nev.) – Barry Duplantis, president and CEO for REMSA Health, has been appointed to the board of directors for the Academy of International Mobile Healthcare Integration (AIMHI). As a founding member of AIMHI, REMSA Health is a longtime leader in improving patient health and patient experience by promoting mobile healthcare integration. AIMHI leads the transformation of emergency medical services (EMS) through the development of high-performing systems, and setting the standards for clinical excellence, accountability, public education, research and economic efficiency.

AIMHI’s members include leading EMS systems that have championed improvements for patient care by emphasizing mobile healthcare integration. By joining out-of-hospital ambulance providers from across the U.S. and abroad, Duplantis’s role on the AIMHI board will further enhance REMSA Health’s service to the community.

Before stepping into his current role in 2023, Duplantis joined REMSA Health as chief financial officer in 2018. His expansive career includes more than 30 years of financial management leadership from industries such as engineering and manufacturing, electronic gaming manufacturing and consumable products. He held various leadership roles at Ebara International Corporation, including CFO, chief compliance officer and head of the corporate division. From 1994 to 2015, he held compliance and strategic logistics leadership roles at International Game Technology. During his time with REMSA Health, Duplantis has brought financial stability to the organization through innovative strategies that have enhanced revenue and reduced costs.
