REMSA Health promotes Laura Lingeman to integrated health manager
Jan. 15, 2025 (RENO, Nev.) – REMSA Health announces the promotion of Laura Lingeman to integrated health manager. She brings a decade of experience as a first responder to the role.
In her new role, Lingeman will oversee innovative programs designed to enhance healthcare delivery within the emergency medical services (EMS) system. She will integrate EMS with broader healthcare networks to improve patient outcomes, boost operational efficiencies and ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
Since Lingeman joined REMSA Health in 2019, she has served in several roles. While working as a community health paramedic, she developed evidence-based programs to improve patient outcomes by identifying and managing health-related social needs. As an EMS supervisor, she supported more than 60 paramedics and emergency medical technicians (EMTs) while overseeing 911 system operations. In addition, she developed a policy focused on data tracking methods and worked to expand the scope of practice to include the delivery of additional medications and the use of new monitoring technology for patients. Lingeman has also served on internal committees focused on recruitment, retention and employee culture. Prior to joining the organization, she worked as an EMT and paramedic field training officer, skills instructor and search and rescue volunteer and technician.

Lingeman holds multiple EMS certifications and a bachelor’s degree in International Studies with an emphasis in Global Health from the University of Utah. She is also a graduate of the Reno + Sparks Chamber of Commerce Leadership program and completed the UCLA Community Health Advocate Management Program. In 2020, REMSA Health recognized her with a STARCARE award for providing outstanding patient care. She was also recognized by the American Ambulance Association as a 2023 Star of Life honoree–she was one of 120 EMS professionals from across the U.S. who received the award.
