Clinical Development Coordinator
This is a full time position eligible for benefits.
This position will coordinate the continuous quality improvement initiatives for REMSA Health ground operations. Within this general framework, this position is accountable for the following functions:
- Develop and monitor electronic reports based on QI clinical indicators selected annually in conjunction with the Clinical and Quality Leadership.
- Perform timely chart/call review applying clinical indicators as described in the QA policy and protocol with feedback to field staff.
- Develop, generate, and assist in the interpretation of monthly reports to leadership based on reviewed indicators.
- Responsible for developing and implementation of scenario based training.
- Participate in the Clinical Committee as assigned.
- Maintain ongoing QI requirements for accrediting entities.
- Review protocols for needed updates and additions in conjunction with the Clinical Committee and submit suggestions to leadership.
- Serve as a resource for customer inquiries regarding clinical issues in conjunction with leadership.
- Maintain Quality databases from ePCR documentation and generate monthly to leadership.
- Assist in the investigation of clinical occurrences and/or concerns as requested.
- Under the explicit direction of management, assist with counseling and/or remediation of clinical skills deficits or other performance/knowledge issues providing evidence of loop closure.
- Perform routine visitations to the field maintaining a positive and safe relationship with field staff to convey QI concerns or issues.
- Oversee, coordinate, and perform skills training and assessment for staff.
- Assist the education department in the presentation of QI issues to staff and with other educational needs as time permits.
- Attend and represent Clinical Services at internal and external committees as requested.
- Oversee, coordinate, and participate in new hire academy and field training .
- Oversee, coordinate, and or participate with training and development of the SFTO’s and FTO’s.

Qualifications/ Experience Requirements
- Nevada State Paramedic Certification or Licensed RN required.
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PHTLS/ITLS, & PALS Provider required.
- QI/QA or data collection experience preferred.
- Working knowledge and/or ability to learn and utilize, REMSA’s Image Trend ePCR suite, Microsoft Excel, Power point, Outlook & Word. Google mail Calendar, Docs and Drive.
- Must be a self-starter with excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
