REMSA Health is pleased to congratulate Adam Heinz, NRP, AEMD, Executive Director of Integrated Healthcare, for joining the Board of Accreditation at the International Academies of Emergency Dispatch (IAED) and the Professional Standards Committee at the American Ambulance Association (AAA).
IAED is the standard-setting organization for emergency dispatch and response services worldwide. IAED provides training, education and certification for more than 70,000 emergency dispatchers in 50 countries. At REMSA Health, we believe that #CareStartsWithTheCall; when you call 9-1-1 for emergency medical services, you will speak to a team of medically-trained professionals that can provide life-saving care over the phone. As such, REMSA Health was recently recognized for its 20 continuous years as an Accredited Center of Excellence.
AAA safeguards the future of mobile healthcare through advocacy, thought leadership and education. AAA advances sustainable EMS policy, empowering members to serve their communities with high-quality, on-demand healthcare. Most recently, the AAA spearheaded efforts for funding for ground ambulance services to cover the lost revenue and increased costs due to the ongoing Public Health Emergency that COVID-19 instilled.
In these roles, Adam will help support the advancement of emergency medical dispatch worldwide and serve as a Vice-Chair of the Professional Standards and Operations Committee respectively, a testament to both Adam’s dedication to the industry and REMSA Health as a leader in healthcare innovations
