Markus Dorsey-Hirt Receives CMTE Designation
Markus Dorsey-Hirt, Chief Flight Nurse for REMSA and Care Flight, attended a program offered by the AAMS (Association of Air Medical Services) Medical Transport Leadership Institute at the National Training Center in Oglebay, WV.
The mission statement of the Medical Transport Leadership Institute (MTLI) is to enhance leadership and management of medical transportation services through formal education programs stressing management theory and its direct practical application.
After this two-year program and working with six other national leaders in the air transport industry, including AirEvac and STAT MedEvac, on a capstone project, Markus received the designation of Certified Medical Transport Executive (CMTE).
