Aug. 8 2024 (RENO, Nev.) – REMSA Health is pleased to announce the promotion of Jake Beck to operations manager of Care Flight, a service of REMSA Health.
“I am thrilled that Jake’s leadership role with the organization is growing,” said Vanessa Coyle, director of operations, Care Flight. “He brings more than 17 years of out-of-hospital experience to this position. Care Flight’s commitment to the communities it serves continues to grow as Jake’s dedication to clinically excellent critical care transport is an important part of Care Flight’s future.”
In his new role, Beck will manage the day-to-day operations of the organization’s critical care transport division, which includes four rotor-wing and one fixed wing aircraft, as well as a critical care transport ambulance. In addition to overseeing Care Flight’s base supervisors and coordinators, Beck will maintain and expand business relationships with user agencies and hospital-based requestors, as well as facilitate and improve operational policies.
Beck joined REMSA Health in 2007 as a ground operations paramedic. He has held positions in the education department and the clinical division. He also served as a field training officer, a community health paramedic, a flight paramedic and a Care Flight base supervisor. Beck holds a flight paramedic certification and a Certified Medical Transport Executive certification – a professional distinction that prepares individuals for management roles in the medical transportation services.
